WOW--or should I say MEWOW!! I am such a lucky cat! I have seen so many new and interesting things. I have heard SO many new birds AND I saw my very first raccoon up close and personal--it sort of looked like ME! Even the squirrels have been different colors where I have been camping.
I love camping--My mom or dad will let me stay outside on my leash so I can bird/squirrel watch for the day. When we are in warm weather, that is my favorite time as I am able to either be outside or in the tent with the windows unzipped. The tent can be a little scarry if the wind is blowing. One night I was really a fraidy cat and ran under the chair! It soon stopped and I was OK then. The tent is a really fun place to run around it because it kind of makes noise when I run around.
Mom has fixed a screen for the trailer door, so I can look outside there too when I am in there. She has thought of EVERYTHING for me! I have a wonderful place to sleep up high in the trailer (I picked it out myself OF COURSE) I sort of feel like a puma when I am up there.
Sometimes, during the day when it my sleeping time, I will sleep in the truck in my crate if they are out doing things, or when we are driving. I have a really nice soft down cover that I sleep on and I feel really safe~~I even have a seat belt around my crate!
I love being in the warm weather now so I can be outside all the time. I am so happy my "real" mama took me to the door of my now Mom & Dad! She knew they would take good care of me! You know, they saved my life!
Well, more later. I really hope you are enjoying our travels as much as we are!

New Litter box
So, the time is going fast now! My mom has made me a new litter box...out of a covered storage tote. It has a lid on it with a hole cut out for me to climb in and out of to relieve myself! Wow, she thinks of everything! Now no litter can get out of the box from my feet.
The first few days using the new box, there was no lid on it--I guess so I could get used to it. Then BAM--the lid was smacked on and she showed me how to get in to it. Simple and easy! Less mess too!
Well...That's it for now!

Getting Ready For Travel
Wow! Things sure are changing in our house. We are getting things ready to go for our travels. Our new utility trailer is in the driveway. The first time I was in it, I was a little frightened. It was new to me and was a bit strange looking all closed up. The next time I was in it, it was better. My dad was working on it while I was just hanging out on a blanket watching him.
I have learned quickly how to walk on my leash with the MetPet walking jacket. I feel very safe and even free to roam around a bit. The leash lets me get 15 feet away. Sometimes if a car goes by I get a little scared and run back to my mom or dad.
Going potty will be a new experience for me with the jacket on. I have not tried it yet, but I know I must learn it for traveling. I am pretty used to it when I lay in my hammock, although sometimes I bite at it. The jacket is very secure and I cannot get out of it, so I guess that's a good thing for safety purposes!
Well, that's it for now~~more later on what's going on from my point of view!
